Iran: Growing number of juvenile executions

Hanging noose widely used by the mullahs' regime to execute prisonersNCRI – The mullahs' inhuman regime hanged a 19-year-old man who was 17 at the time of the alleged crime in the central city of Isfahan.

Earlier, Behnam Zarei and Saeed Reza Hejazi, both 15 at the time of their alleged crimes, were sent to the gallows.

According to right groups110 minors are on death row in Iran.  All were under 18 at the time of the alleged crimes.

Consecutive juvenile executions happened when two weeks ago the mullahs' judiciary spokesman in a deceitful statement announced that death sentences for minors would be abrogated at once.

The ruling religious fascism is the leading executioner of minors in the world. It is a party to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, both of which obligate States parties not to impose the death penalty on those who commit crimes under the age of 18.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations especially the UN High commissioner for Human Rights to stop the Iranian regime committing such heinous crimes.
