Iran: Four prisoners hanged in Isfahan and Mashhad

Six prisoners sentenced to death and a 60-year-old man’s hand soon will be amputated
NCRI – The mullahs’ regime hanged two prisoners identified as Iraj and Omid in prison yard in the central city of Isfahan, the state-run daily Iran reported on Tuesday.

Two other prisoners faced gallows without being identified in the northeastern city of Mashhad, the state-run daily Etemad reported on Monday.

Six other prisoners, Mohammadreza 30, Majid 32, Akbar 32, Saiid 24,  Zahra and Hamid both 27-years old were sentenced to death.

"A 60-year-old prisoner was sentenced to a three year prison term, 74 lashes, his hand to be amputated and exiled for three years," the state-run daily Iran reported on Tuesday.

The mullahs’ regime desperate in combating the increasing popular protests and uprisings has turned to more suppressive measures such as limbs amputations, flogging and arbitrary executions.

The Iranian Resistance calls on the international community to end its silence over medieval punishments and growing number of executions in Iran. It also calls for an end to barbaric and systematic violations of human rights by the ruling religious fascism in Iran.
