Iran: Five prisoners hanged in Zahedan, Bandar Abbas, Qom and Saveh

Iran: Two labor activists sentenced to serve time by the mullahs' judiciaryA political activist will soon be executed
NCRI – Mr. Adnan Hassanpoor, an Iranian Kurdish journalist was arrested four months ago together with one of his colleagues, Mr. Heywa Butimar, in the northwestern city of Marivan. They have been sentenced to death by the mullahs’ judiciary on the charges of being "enemies of God." Mr. Hassanpoor’s sentence has been upheld by the regime’s Supreme Court and he is awaiting his execution.

Separately, the regime hanged a prisoner identified as Nader Kalbali in prison yard in the southeastern city of Zahedan, the official news agency IRNA reported today.

The state-run news agency ISNA reported on Sunday that a prisoner identified only by his initials D.N. was hanged in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas.

The mullahs’ henchmen hanged two Afghan nationals identified as A.T. and A.H. in the central city of Saveh, the government-run news agency IRNA reported on November 7.

A young man identified only by his first name Sabour was hanged in public in the holy city of Qom, the state-run daily IRAN reported on November 7.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations and the current session of the UN General Assembly to condemn the regime for its human rights violations and adopt binding measures to stop arbitrary executions in Iran as well as taking urgent action to stay Mr. Hassanpoor’s execution.
