Iran : Eleven executions in Iran in less than a week

NCRI – Yesterday, the regime’s judiciary publicly hanged five prisoners identified as Khashayar J., Esmail B., Abolghasem H., Ruhollah T., and Hassan B. in a stadium in the northern province of Golestan, the state-run daily Etemad reported.

The latest hangings bring the total number of officially-announced executions to 11 in less than a week. In previous days, five prisoners were hanged in the northern province of Khorrasan and a man was hanged in the western city of Kermanshah.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations and in particular the current session of the United Nations General Assembly to condemn the arbitrary hangings and cruel violations of human rights in Iran and demands the referral of the regime’s human rights dossier to the UN Security Council.
