Iran: Eight million criminal cases opened by mullahs’ judiciary last year

NCRI – The regime’s Judiciary Chief Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi said that last year alone eight million new criminal cases were opened for Iranian citizens, the equivalent of one out of every six people of the entire population over the age of 15. The mullahs’ intention for setting the new unprecedented international record is before anything else to create an atmosphere of fear among Iranian youths who are calling for regime change in Iran.

Shahroudi referred to the unprecedented figure when he described prison conditions and said, "One should spend a night in the prison to see how horrible its conditions are. This is when one is in my position and not as an inmate."
