Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 517,100

  • Kerman Medical University: The COVID-19 status in 15 cities in the Province is red, and six are orange. In the past 24 hours, 16 COVID-19 patients have died. (Tasnim news agency, March 3, 2022)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Thursday, March 3, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities was more than 517,100. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 121,355, Khorasan Razavi 41,395, Isfahan 35,960, Khuzestan 31,080, Fars 19,900, West Azerbaijan 19,498, East Azerbaijan 17,908, Gilan 17,795, Alborz 15,093, Kerman 14,122, Qom 13,805, Kermanshah 9,684, Hamedan 9,563, Semnan 6,815, Ilam 4,933, Khorasan South 4,631, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 3,995, and Kohgiluyeh Boyerahmad 3,919.
