The death toll in various provinces include: 37,241 in Tehran, 11,390 in Khorasan Razavi, 8,760 in Khuzestan, 8,585 in Isfahan, 6,505 in Lorestan, 5,617 in East Azerbaijan, 5,421 in Gilan, 4,734 in East Azerbaijan, 4,210 in Alborz, 4,160 in Fars, 3,940 in Hamedan, 2,790 in Central, 2,730 in Kurdistan, 2,625 in Yazd, 2,555 in Kerman, 2,503 in North Khorasan, 1,570 in Qazvin, and 1,320 in Ilam.
