Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 152,900 in 465 Cities

  • Tabriz Medical Sciences University: Every day more than 500 news infected persons are identified in the Province and more than 20 die. (Mehr news agency, November 13, 2020).
  • Isfahan Medical School: Fifty Coronavirus patients died in the past 24 hours. (State television, November 12, 2020).
  • West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University: The number of people hospitalized for Covid-19 has reached 1,652 of whom 301 are in ICU and 89 are under ventilators. The total number of people who have died of coronavirus in this province has reached 2,286 and the increasing trend in this regard is very dangerous.” (Mehr news agency, Novembe3, 2020).
  • In Kerman Medical Sciences University: 41 Covid-19 patients died in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of deaths to 1,482. (Mehr news agency, November 13, 2020).

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced this afternoon, Friday, November 13, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 151,800 people in 465 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 37,241 in Tehran, 11,390 in Khorasan Razavi, 8,760 in Khuzestan, 8,585 in Isfahan, 6,505 in Lorestan, 5,617 in East Azerbaijan, 5,421 in Gilan, 4,734 in East Azerbaijan, 4,210 in Alborz, 4,160 in Fars, 3,940 in Hamedan, 2,790 in Central, 2,730 in Kurdistan, 2,625 in Yazd, 2,555 in Kerman, 2,503 in North Khorasan, 1,570 in Qazvin, and 1,320 in Ilam.
