Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Is More Than 312,200

The black market for the sale of “Pfizer” vaccines has been launched in Tehran, selling every dose between 250 and 600 million rials (approximately 6,000 to 14,250 USD). The market has prospered following the halt in vaccination. (Hamshahri daily, June 15, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on June 15, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 312,200. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 73,166, Isfahan 20,980, Khuzestan 19,636, Khorasan Razavi 18,980, East Azerbaijan 12,793, West Azerbaijan 11,738, Fars 10,467, Alborz 8,913, Yazd 5,207, Hormozgan 4,225, Qazvin 3,609, and Bushehr 3,279.
