Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 518 Cities Exceeds 229,000

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on March 10, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 518 cities had exceeded 229,000. The number of victims in Tehran is 53,821, Isfahan 14,825, Khuzestan 12,535, Mazandaran 9,722, East Azerbaijan 8,848, Qom 8,490, Gilan 8,131, Fars 6,792, Alborz 5,698, Kerman 5,059, Semnan 3,690, North Khorasan 3,493, Zanjan 2,490, Hormozgan 2,485, and Bushehr 2,314.

While one after the other, the regime’s officials and specialists report a shortage of beds and hospital facilities and an increase in the number of patients. Rouhani, in his usual brazen claims, said today, “We export ventilators, we are self-sufficient in the production of medical equipment and needs, and are in the process of mass-producing Iranian Coronavirus vaccine.”
