Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 431 Cities Exceeds 103,000

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, September 14, 2020, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 431 cities across Iran had passed 103,000. The number of victims in Khorasan Razavi is 7,439, Khuzestan 6,772, Isfahan 4,749, Qom 4,685, Gilan 4,261, Sistan and Baluchestan 3,158, Alborz 2,923, Fars 2,886, Kermanshah 2,402, Kerman 1,645, Hormozgan 1,381, Semnan 1,351, Central Province 1,344, Bushehr 1,293, Ardabil 1,252, Zanjan 989, Ilam 872, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 704.

According to the state-run daily, Vatan-e Emruz, today, at the reopening ceremony of the universities, a student wrote to Rouhani: “While the state of Coronavirus is red, everything has returned to normal. Schools are open, government offices are open, people are back to work, and you are the only one who has kept his distance from the people. How is it that the President forces millions of students to attend schools, but he is not willing to attend the reopening ceremony of the school year?”
