The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 403 cities across Iran had passed 94,400. The number of victims in Tehran is 23,025, Khorasan Razavi 6,701, Khuzestan 6,364, Mazandaran 4,528, Lorestan 3,992, Sistan and Baluchestan 2,971, Alborz 2,738, Fars 2,648, West Azerbaijan 2,620, Kermanshah 2,267, Kerman 1,507, Hormozgan 1,264, Yazd 1,179, Ardabil 1,117, Zanjan 899, Qazvin 794, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 632.

While according to the regime’s statistics, the Coronavirus death toll in Iran is one of the highest in the world, Rouhani brazenly claimed, today, “Our enemies at the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak were after a conspiracy saying, everything should be locked down…They wanted to push the country into crisis. We have done a great job. We said that together the people’s lives and livelihood could be ensured; that is, a person can maintain his life and earn bread by observing and implementing health protocols … Three world leaders told me that your achievement in Iran had become a role model for us on how to deal with the Coronavirus and, at the same time, continue our economic activity.” It is noteworthy that Rouhani has never mentioned those bogus world leaders, who have modeled the work style of the mullahs’ evil regime.

At the same time, Rouhani’s Health Minister blamed the large number of victims on the people and said, “When we contained the first peak of the virus in April, I repeatedly said to be careful and not to be proud of this reduction in the infections. This virus is complex, dangerous, and unpredictable. Coronavirus can score and hit us from the corners of the field at the last minute. What happened to us was the result of negligence and carelessness about the disease,” reported Entekhab daily, today.
