- Mashhad University of Medical Sciences: The COVID-19 Mortality (in this outbreak) is in double digits, and hospitalizations are increasing. Outpatients are 50% more than what it was in late June. (ISNA, July 8, 2021)
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Thursday, July 8, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities is more than 325,000. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 75,926, Isfahan 21,985, Khuzestan 20,621, Khorasan Razavi 19,795, East Azerbaijan 13,168, Lorestan 12,700, West Azerbaijan 12,033, Fars 10,962, Qom 9,930, Alborz 9,248, Sistan and Baluchestan 8,166, Kerman 7,568, Hormozgan 5,000, and North Khorasan 4,573.
