Iran: 6 hangings in various cities

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI – On Friday, April 10, 2009, the Iranian regime executed three prisoners identified as Mohsen Eslamian, Ali-Asghar Patsher, and Rouzbeh Yahya-Zadeh, in the province of Fars (southern Iran). They were all accused of confronting the regime.

In February, Rahmat Sadeqi, 23, was executed at the central prison in the city of Sanandaj (northwest Iran). On March 3, Khalilollah Zarei and Hafez Salaheddin Seyyedi, two Sunni clerics, met the same fate at the Zahedan prison (southeast Iran). They were also accused of confronting the regime.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations and authorities, especially the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, to condemn the deplorable human rights situation in Iran and adopt immediate and binding measures to put a stop to the clerical regime’s suppressive policies.
