Iran: 11 prisoners to be hanged on Wednesday

Prisoners Hanged in IranNCRI – Death sentences for 11 prisoners have been reaffirmed by the clerical regime's Supreme Court. They are going to be hanged on Wednesday morning, June 11, the state-run daily Etemad reported today.

Behnoud Shojaee is among those to be hanged on Wednesday who was only 17 at the time of alleged crime. He was saved from being hanged once before when his sentence was suspended for a month.

According to Jomhuri Islami daily, a prisoner was hanged in Bojnourd Prison this morning.

The clerical dictatorship, unable to deal with widespread strikes and protests by workers, students, women, teachers and youths, has stepped up suppression and executions in Iran.

The Iranian Resistance calls on international human rights organizations and competent UN bodies to condemn mullahs' crimes in Iran. It also calls for referral of the regime's human rights dossier to the UN Security Council for adoption of binding measures.
