Iran: 10 people hanged in 5 days in the cities of Ahwaz, Kerman, Shirvan and OroumiehOne of the prisoners hanged in public

NCRI – On Monday morning, July 19, in the city of Ahwaz, the inhumane regime ruling Iran hanged a prisoner, named "A. Sh." in public.  Three prisoners with the names of "Abbas Y.", "Rouhollah B." and "Mohammad Na'im Sh." were hanged in Kerman's prison the previous day.

Mullahs' Judiciary in the province of Northern Khorasan also announced the execution of a prisoner in the city of Shirvan, north-east of Iran.

On Thursday morning, July 15, in a criminal act, 5 prisoners were collectively executed in the central prison of Oroumieh. They were Feisal Sa'edi, Karam Azizi, Omid Nourani, Abdulrahman Randi and Ali Sareban.

Thus, number of the executions in past two weeks has risen up to 16.
Setting up gallows in public and in various prisons across the country indicates the weakness of the faltering regime facing the Iranian people's uprising and outrage against the clerical regime. The clerical regime is perpetrating to intensify spell of fear and terror. The clerical regime’s judiciary has openly declared “raising the level of security” as the goal of these executions.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international authorities and human rights organizations, particularly the United Nations Secretary General, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and special rapporteurs on arbitrary arrests and execution to condemn the deteriorating human rights conditions in Iran and enact urgent measures to stop the cruel executions.
