International call to save a political prisoner

NCRI – In the past month, there has been no information on the whereabouts of Mr. Mohammad Ali Mansouri, a political prisoner whose sister is a PMOI member residing in Camp Ashraf.

On October 26, Iranian regime’s henchmen in Gohardasht prison, summoned Mr. Mansouri to prison’s counterintelligence section and after tormenting him in a long series of interrogations, transferred Mr. Mansouri to solitary confinement in ward 1 known as Dog’s Den.

During the past month, henchmen have refused to offer any news on this political prisoner to his family. In the past, there have been numerous cases where prisoners have been murdered or killed by poisonous drugs in Gohardasht prison.

Mohammad Ali Mansouri has spent more than three years in Iranian regime’s medieval prisons. Because of Mr. Mansouri’s connections with the PMOI, he has been condemned to 17 years in prison and exiled to the dreaded Gohardasht prison.

The Iranian Resistance warns against threats to Mr. Mansouri’s life and calls on all international human rights organizations and personalities to take urgent measures regarding the state of political prisoners in Iran.
