Five hanged, three sentenced to death in two days

NCRI – The mullahs’ anti-human regime hanged five people and sentenced another three to death in two days.

According to the state-run news agency, IRNA, on Monday, three people, named Saji Mohammadi, Ali Shahsavari, and Hassan Barchlo, were hanged in Qazvin Prison (western Iran).

IRNA reported yesterday that two people were hanged in southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan.

The state-run daily, Kayhan, , reported on June 12 the sentencing to death of Zamen Bavi, for his alleged involvement in recent incidents in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahwaz. According to the daily, a man named Hamid was sentenced to death in Shahriyar, Isfahan Province (central Iran).

These bring to 13 the number of people hanged or sentenced to death by the mullahs’ Judiciary in the past nine days.

The ruling religious fascism has resorted to savage executions following the dramatic surge in uprisings in different Iranian provinces in Iran, especially after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad became Preisdent.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations, particularly the next session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, to condemn executions in Iran and take urgent action to stop them.
