Brutal attack on political prisoners in Evin prison

NCRI – The mullahs' agents brutally attacked the political prisoners of ward 350 of the notorious Tehran's Evin prison on Wednesday following a memorial service held by the prisoners honoring their fellow inmate Abdolreza Rajabi, a member of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The regime’s henchmen murdered Rajabi in Gohardasht prison, 40 kilometers west of the capital on October 30.

Bozorgnia, head of ward 350, with the help of a group of the Revolutionary Guards and a number of common criminals in the jail, attacked the prisoners destroying the facilities and looting their belongings. Two Revolutionary Guards identified in the attack were named as Hossein Assadi and Farzad.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations in particular the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to condemn suppression and torture of political prisoners in Iran and take effective measures to stop these brutalities.
