NCRI – Iraqi officials and some media outlets tied to the clerical regime and its proxies in Iraq, have announced that 22 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Camp Ashraf, Iraq, have requested to return to Iran after the Iraqi forces’ criminal attack against the camp.
In response, Ashraf residents declared that the claim is an absolute lie and no one among them since the violent assault by the Iraqi forces has either left Ashraf or requested to do so.
The goal of the clerical regime and its agents in Iraq by propagating such lies is to lift the spirits of the Iraqi forces. These forces have become terrified after witnessing the colossal determination and iron steadfastness of the combatants of freedom in Ashraf, who rose up to defend the camp with empty hands in the face of the vicious attack of clerical regime agents. Adding to the Iraqi forces’ utter trepidation is the deep hatred of the Iraqi people and world public opinion towards the attack.
