Iraqi police attacking water and power stations inside Camp Ashraf

NCRI – At 17:00 local time, Iraqi armored vehicles attacked Camp Ashraf capturing a junction at the vicinity of Morvarid cemetery inside Ashraf. Ebrahim Komari, Bahram Jafari and Reza Danapour, three members of the PMOI, were badly beaten and taken away to unknown location handcuffed while they were unconscious. Six armored vehicles are moving toward water and power stations inside Ashraf and have wounded at least 15 residents on their way.

Three armored vehicles and a number of other vehicles carrying armed forces are in Laleh Square. The forces are savagely beating Ashraf residents. The police forces are using batons, truncheons and axes to attack unarmed residents in streets named as 100 and 400.

The PMOI members in the Camp were chanting “Death to Khamenei, in Tehran and in Ashraf.” It is quite clear that the religious fascism ruling Iran is using its agents within the Iraqi government to react to a proposal by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, yesterday in Rome. She suggested that the PMOI members would go back to Iran if their freedom of speech is guaranteed. The regime has expanded its brutal suppression to Ashraf the same way as it is in Tehran streets.
