Committee to close Camp Ashraf stops transfer of three patients to Baaquba Hospital

Ashraf – Breach of Obligations – N° 5

NCRI – On Monday the committee responsible for closure of Camp Ahsraf in Iraq’s prime minister’s office blocked transfer of three patients to a hospital in Baaquba, west of Iraq. The committee has earlier approved the transfer but blocked it at the last minute.

It has been three years since the Iraqi government has blocked Camp Ashraf residents’ free access to medical services.  In the last year alone 12 critically ill patients were denied access to much needed medical treatments and lost their lives.
