Futile attempt to blame the regime’s international failures on Mottaki in face of the Iranian Resistance

NCRI – Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described sudden dismissal of the regime’s foreign minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, by Ahmadinejad as sign of Ali Khamenei’s loss of hegemony and clout, heightening of internal rift and the result of tremor within the clerical regime in its faltering state.

She said: The clerical regime’s internal crisis over its nuclear programs, imposition of international sanctions, emphasis of countries in the region on the need to overthrow the regime – unveiled in recent revelations – and successive failures of the regime in face of the Iranian Resistance on the international level, as well as widespread growing support for the residents of Ashraf, members of the PMOI/MEK, are among the main reasons of Mottaki’s dismissal.

The hurriedly firing of the regime’s foreign minister, while on an official visit to African countries, is a futile attempt by the regime to explain its failures and blame them on Mottaki. The succession of failures of the regime has heightened the internal crisis that will be followed by string of failures to come.
