Iran: Inhuman Coronavirus Policies of the Regime Takes the Lives of 468,500

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, November 1, 2021, that the death toll in 547 cities across Iran had exceeded 468,500. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 109,795, Khorasan Razavi 38,300, Isfahan 31,910, Khuzestan 28,660, West Azerbaijan 17,378, Alborz 13,818, Golestan 10,325, Hamedan 8,733, Yazd 7,703, Semnan 6,255, North Khorasan 5,963, South Khorasan 4,041, Fars 17,185, Qom 12,780, Kurdistan 7,552, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,454.

Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i, the regime’s Judiciary chief, admitted that the regime was to blame for the high number of COVID-19 victims. Speaking at the regime’s parliamentary Health Commission session, he said, today: “In the case of Coronavirus, if more efforts and some important decisions had been made earlier, causing fewer people to be infected and less to die, wouldn’t it have been less costly?”
