- Ilam Medical University: Ilam is one of the provinces where the increase in COVID-19 patients and hospitalizations in the past seven days is quite evident.
- West Azerbaijan Medical University: 756 new COVID-19 patients and 18 deaths were registered in the past 24 hours.
- Arak Medical University: In the past 24 hours, 337 new COVID-19 patients were identified, and 10 died. The treatment staff is severely worn out.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 460,200. In Tehran, the number of victims has reached 107,756, Khorasan Razavi 37,750, Isfahan 31,240, Khuzestan 28,215, West Azerbaijan 16,858, Fars 16,705, Lorestan 15,300, Sistan and Baluchestan 12,950, Qom 12,605, Kerman 12,282, Hamedan 8,608, Central Province 8,418, Kermanshah 8,389, North Khorasan 5,874, Ilam 4,393, and South Khorasan 3,971.
