She called upon youths to have faith in the arrival of freedom and prosperity and stand up for Iran’s freedom."
Referring to the support of students and academics for the vanguards of the Iranian people’s freedom in Ashraf City in Iraq, she said: “With awareness and perseverance, the young Iranian generation, which recognizes fully its role models, will rebuild an Iran freed from the mullahs’ dictatorship.”
Saluting all students, teachers and academics who were martyred for the cause of bringing about freedom for Iran, she said: “Twenty-eight years of the most horrendous crackdowns and methods to spread fear, such as street searches, controls in all schools and universities, arrests, torture and hangings … have not been able to extinguish the flame of resistance for freedom. One hundred years after the victory of Iran’s constitutional revolution, we are at a critical and decisive juncture to bring about freedom.”
