Iranian Resistance condemns admission of terrorist Mohammad Najjar to Austria

NCRI – The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns admission of terrorist Brigadier General Mohammad Najjar, Iranian regime’s Defense Minister, to Austria to participate in the annual conference of United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs and Crime Prevention.

This criminal is visiting Europe although he has been on the EU blacklist of human rights violators since October 2011. Admission of this criminal who should be tried for crime against humanity for his barbaric suppression of the popular uprising and the slaughter of many innocent people in other countries in terrorist operations is a flagrant insult to human rights, fight against terrorism, and the values United Nations and European Union are built upon with no outcome but to discredit EU resolutions and to embolden the criminals ruling Iran.

Presence of this terrorist in the commission convened to fight narcotic drugs is while IRGC itself is amongst the main smugglers of narcotic drugs in the region and the world through which it provides millions of dollars for expenses of terrorist operations and export of fundamentalism. The German Die Velt reported that according to a classified report by the U.S. Embassy in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, the quantity of discovered heroin smuggled from Iran to Europe in just the first three months of 2009 amounted to 59,000 kilograms. According to this same report, a considerable amount of impure heroin of Afghanistan is bought by the Iranian regime, turned into heroin, and then transferred to Europe via Azerbaijan by regime’s elements of Ministry of Intelligence and Security (Die Velt – 14 May 2011).

Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najjar, joined the IRGC in 1979 and serving in various positions, including the IRGC in Kurdistan, Commander of Lebanon-Palestine axis and Gulf countries, Hezbollah Corps in Persian Gulf, Deputy to self-reliance industries of Ministry of IRGC and Ministry of Defense, Minister of Defense, and Minister of the Interior has played a prominent role in suppression of the Iranian people, export of terrorism including explosion of Headquarters of the U.S. Marines and French forces in Beirut in 1980s, production of WMD, the nuclear weapons project of the clerical regime, and the suppression of the 2009 popular uprising.
