NCRI – As the hunger strike by Iranian dissidents in Camp Liberty entered day 83 on Friday more protesters have faced a dangerous situation and transferred to the clinic at the camp or hospital.
At least 10 hunger strikers who are in highly critical condition includes 3 women and 7 men. They are all currently receiving medical attention.
On the other hand because of lack of infrastructure in Camp Liberty and the Iraqi government preventing entry of many items to the camp, after the rain the roads leading to blackwater tanks are muddy and it is hard for the trucks to reach the tanks.
Last night many backwater tanks overflew creating a serious hygiene problem for the camp residents.
Most part of the camp is still under water and the residents continue discharging the water with the tankers.

Hunger strikers In Rome that joined the international the protest last week held yellow signs carrying their demands. These demands included the release of 7 abducted Camp Ashraf hostages and deployment UN Blue Helmets in camp Liberty to protect the residents.
An Italian citizen also joined the hunger strikers and said he will continue his protest until the seven Camp Ashraf hostages are released.
