NCRI – Congressman Mike Coffman has reiterated his call for taking urgent measure to ‘ensure the safety and humane treatment of the residents of Camp Ashraf” following the September 1 massacre at the camp by Iraqi forces.
Congressman Coffman said in a statement on September 4: “Sadly, the reported massacre of 52 residents in Camp Ashraf is another example of the Iraqi government as well as the United Nation’s failure to adequately protect the refugees living at the camp. I have always urged any and all actions that ensure the safety and humane treatment of the residents of Camp Ashraf while their relocation is being considered.”
