Running fights in central districts of Tehran with chants of “Death to Khamenei”

March 1 Uprising- No 2

NCRI – Despite dense presence of regime’s suppressive forces in various districts of Tehran, protests, demonstrations and clashes between the people and regime’s mercenaries continue.

About 16:30, the suppressive forces attacked the people who were marching toward Ferdowsi sq. and chanting “Death to Khamenei” which led to clashes.
 
At 17:30, running fights and clashes between the people and the suppressive forces were still going on in Enghelab sq. Jamalzadeh Ave. Tehran University, Vali Asr sq., Jomhouri sq., Pasteur Ave and Kargar Ave. The chants of “Death to Khamenei” were heard in those areas.
 
The gangs of anti-riot bike-riders plan to intimidate people in some areas including below the Hafez Bridge and Vali Asr sq. The regime’s agents have been stationed at locations such as Park Daneshjou, al-Javad Mosque in Haft Tir sq., Amjadieh Stadium, and former US embassy.
