NCRI – The February 14 uprising was much more radical than protests of last year, a representative of the Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader has said.
Hossein Shariatmadari, who runs Khamenei’s mouthpiece Kayhan daily, said, “The incident on February 14, although a continuation of the 2009 sedition, but was qualitatively different owing to its distinct plan, design and structure.”
According to Fars news agency on Saturday, Shariatmadari added, “In war, the two sides seek to target the core forces. During last year’s protests, the target of the enemy’s attacks was directly the Supreme Leader.”
