NCRI – The Iranian regime’s general prosecutor and judiciary spokesman has said that what he described as the “sedition” of popular protests against the regime has entered a new phase, according to the state-run Mehr news agency on Tuesday.
Speaking to a number of officials in the regime’s judiciary, Gholamhossein Ejei compared the 2009 protests with the recent uprising and said, “The sedition has entered a new phase. We have entered a clear atmosphere now where the revolutionaries and anti-revolutionaries can be seen distinct from each other.”
He threatened that anyone pursuing acts of protest will be dealt with as “anti-revolutionaries” with maximum punishment.
