Suppressive forces prevent students from honoring slain protestor

NCRI – The Iranian regime’s suppressive forces have prevented a large number of people from attending a memorial ceremony for a young man shot dead during Monday’s anti-regime protests.

According to reports, the paramilitary Bassij Force and the special units of the State Security Forces (SSF) surrounded the arts college of University of Tehran on Tuesday to prevent people from attending the funeral of Sane’ Jaleh who was killed by regime forces during the uprisings against the mullahs on Monday.

Eyewitnesses said SSF forces were present at the university and all the way to the Vali-e Asr intersection.

Students were not allowed to move much around campus. They were not allowed to exit the campus either.

Some students, many women, were degraded, insulted and beaten by the regime’s agents, according to reports.
