Tehran students call on Muslims to rise

Around noon in Tehran, near Enghelab Square, students were marching with banners that called on Muslims rise up. The students were attacked by suppressive forces and prevented them from entering Enghelab Square. Despite being dispersed in the nearby alleys, students confronted the suppressive forces by hurling stones at them. Three students were injured in the clashes.

 

A group of mourners from northern province of Gilan residing in Tehran that wanted to enter Enghelab Street, coming down from Hafez Street, was obstructed by the suppressive forces. In subsequent clashes between people and the regime’s agents, ten were injured. A motorbike was destroyed by people.
