Iran’s resistance movement the only force to stop regime’s nuclear drive: Washington Post editorial

NCRI – In an editorial on Thursday, the Washington Post wrote, “Iran’s internal resistance is the only force that in the end is likely to stop the drive for a bomb.”

Entitled, “A sterile conversation,” the editorial, which discussed the Geneva talks this week between the Iranian regime and the P5+1 countries, said, “There is another logical explanation for Iran’s willingness to talk – that it seeks to delay further sanctions, create dissension among the United States and its allies, and distract attention from its continuing crackdown on the opposition Green movement.”

The US and its allies, the Washington Post added, “should press forward simultaneously with other strategies to stop the Iranian nuclear program. That could include more sanctions, such as a full ban on landings by Iranian airliners in Europe. But it also should include greater efforts to support Iran’s internal resistance – which is the only force that in the end is likely to stop the drive for a bomb.”
