NCRI – A Russian expert described Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s trip to Lebanon as insignificant, and said, “Those who welcome Ahmadinejad are simply supporters of Hezbollah.”
Dmitry Babich said in an article published by Ria Novosti, “Disregarding marginal issues and worries about this trip, there really hasn’t been any important developments.”
He added, “Supporters of Hezbollah support Ahmadinejad in response to the help they receive from Syria and the Iranian regime.”
“This is a lesson for Russia, too. When signing deals, Russia should not be mesmerized by numbers and figures alone. It should also look at the other party, the ruling regime and its international standing.”
