Iran: Regime’s agents kidnap wounded from Tehran?s Farabi hospital

Téhéran, 11 février 2010February 11 Uprising – Statement no. 20

The State Security Forces kidnapped those wounded in clashes today from Farabi hospital in Tehran. Using a large vehicle, the wounded were taken away from the hospital’s backdoor to an unknown destination.

In today’s uprising, Keshavarz Boulevard was one of the areas where a large crowd of protesters gathered.

There were also gatherings around main metro stations including; Central station, Toupkhaneh, Arya Shahr, Saadi, Darvazeh Dowlat, Taleqani and Haft-e Tir. Protesters chanted anti-regime slogans. Suppressive forces clashed with protesters around Toupkhaneh station.

In Shahr Ara Square, west of Tehran, the Special Guard opened fire on a massive protesting crowd injuring a number people. The suppressive forces also attacked the protesters and brutally beat them.

In Imam Hossein Square, motorcycles belonged to the suppressive forces were set on fire by people. They were left burning for hours.

In Ferdowsi Square, the agents were trying to extinguish a tower which was knocked down by people and set on fire.
