Negotiations with Iran: Allowing time for Tehran to acquire the nuclear bomb

ImageCorrect policy is to refer the Iranian regime’s nuclear file to UN Security Council

Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, described the new round of talks between the EU and the Iranian regime, as affording another opportunity to the ruling clerics in Iran in their pursuit of nuclear weapons. He said that the clerical regime has used the three years of negotiations to deceive, conceal and buy time.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran held two press conferences yesterday in Paris and London, and revealed an extensive network of tunnels constructed by the fundamentalist regime in Iran to hide its missile and nuclear activities and equipment.
Mr. Mohaddessin added: “The only way to rid the region and the world from the dangers of the terrorist regime in Iran, who actively pursues the acquisition of nuclear weapons, is change in Iran. The obstacle to change in Iran which can only be achieved by the Iranian people has been the policy of appeasement by Western countries. The correct policy vis-à-vis the Iranian regime’s nuclear program is to halt all negotiations and immediately refer the mullahs’ nuclear file to the United Nations Security Council for adoption of comprehensive sanctions.”
