NCRI – According to reports by the Social Headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran inside the country, the State Security Forces and the plainclothes agents had been stationed in Tehran streets in a bid to prevent anti-government demonstrators from reaching Tehran University and its surrounding.

NCRI – According to reports by the Social Headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran inside the country, the State Security Forces and the plainclothes agents had been stationed in Tehran streets in a bid to prevent anti-government demonstrators from reaching Tehran University and its surrounding.
By ridiculing Friday Prayer’s slogans, the crowd gathered in the surrounding streets of Tehran University, change them into anti government slogans.
The whole length of Amir Abad Street up to Rezaii-ha Square is crammed with people.
The crowd in Vali Asr Square is so massive and compact that agents of Bassij force are encircled by people.
The suppressive forces attacked people and arrested a number of them in Aban and Palestine streets and Taleqani Intersection. Many were injured in the attack and some taken away by government agents to unknown locations.
