Othman added that the one who must be held accountable more than anyone else about the recent bloody events in Iraq and the crises in Camp Ashraf is the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, and he must hand in his resignation.

This Kurdish MP called upon the Iraqi Parliament to convene for an emergency meeting to ask Maliki's government to remove all the restrictions imposed on the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and its members [in Camp Ashraf] and to release all the detainees and to return all the stolen goods such as cars, lorries, and other materials which were stolen during the attack, and to respect their rights and protect their belongings.

“What happened there should not be repeated, because it was an unforgivable crime under the law and international norms,” he said
