Iran: Mullahs’ regime to execute more prisons

 2 prisoners, who were minor offenders, face imminent execution

NCRI – The mullahs’ regime is planning to execute a number of prisoners in a bid to spread fear. A group of prisoners have been transferred to Evin Prison from various wards in Gohardasht Prison. Some of these prisoners are:

Behnoud Shojaie, 21, was 17 at the time of the alleged offense and has been on death row for a long time;

Javad Najafi, 20, was 16 at the time of the alleged offense.

Behnoud and Javad were transferred from Ward 6 of Gohardasht to Evin.

According to information received, three female prisoners in Ward 7 of the Women’s Section of Gohardasht Prison in Karaj are at imminent threat of execution. Two of them are Akram Mohammadi, 35, and Ameneh Abdullah-Zadeh, 50. They have been imprisoned for seven and five years respectively.

The Iranian Resistance urges all international human rights organizations to take urgent measures to save the lives of these prisoners.
