NCRI – The Foreign Minister of Iraq, Hoshyar Zibari, said on Thursday in an interview with al-Hurra TV, that: “The issue of elections is still not completely closed in Iran and we are monitoring the protests regarding the illegitimacy of these elections as well as the committing of violence in Iran. … Both in political and also social terms, there is a lot of interest and significance felt about this issue in Iraq.” Asked, “Are you as afraid and worried as other Gulf States about the Iranian regime obtaining a nuclear weapon,” Mr. Zibari responded: Iraq paid a heavy price for having weapons of mass destruction, and you know about international limitations imposed against Iraq. We are still suffering from that. So, Iraq is worried. We are worried about those countries in the region that have nuclear weapons and are willing to use them.
