Italian Foreign Min: World must stop Iran being nuclear power

Italian Foreign Min: World must stop Iran being nuclear powerNCRI – The international community must pursue dialogue with Iran regime to prevent it becoming a nuclear power, Italy's foreign minister said Tuesday after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ruled out talks with world powers, AFP reported.

"International dialogue with Iran must continue to stop new nuclear powers from emerging one after the other in an already sufficiently dangerous world," Franco Frattini told Rai Uno radio.

Iranian regime "doesn't have a nuclear bomb yet and we hope it will never have it," he said. "We make a distinction between nuclear with peaceful objectives and the atomic bomb, but international dialogue must continue."

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, mullahs’ president ruled out Monday any talks with world powers on his regime's nuclear drive, saying it wouldn't deal with anyone outside the International Atomic Energy Agency, the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog.

Iranian regime has defied U.N. sanctions by pressing ahead with its nuclear program aimed at producing nuclear weapons.
