Iran: Two prisoners hanged in Arak and Borujerd

iran_executions_150NCRI – The mullahs' inhuman regime hanged a prisoner identified only by his initials Z.K. in the central city of Arak, the official daily Kayhan reported on Wednesday.

Kayhan reported another man named Ali Sadeqi hanged in the western city of Borujerd also on Wednesday.

Five other prisoners identified as Hadi Khandar, Hamid Akbari, Mohsen, Hossein and Mehdi were sentenced to death by the mullahs' judiciary.

The first two were arrested when second phase of the so-called "boosting public security plan" called "combating thugs and hooligans" began in summer of 2007.

The so-called "boosting public security plan" was first introduced in April 2007 to combat popular uprisings. Mass street arrests of hundreds of thousands of women and youth under the pretext of "mal-veiling" and cracking down on "thugs and hooligans" followed. In the same period, more than 300 prisoners were sent to gallows.
