Iran: Five prisoners hanged in Tehran

Iran Prisoners Hanged in TehranNCRI – The ruling mullahs in Iran hanged five men in Tehran's notorious Evin prison on Wednesday, the state-run Fars news agency reported.
 
The prisoner were only identified by their first names: Mohammad, 32, Ahmad, 38, Hamid, 29. Esfandiar, 35 and Mohammad, 40.  Their executions were carried out after the sentences were approved by the Iran regime’s Supreme Court, the news agency said.

At least 70 persons have been executed in Iran so far this year.

In 2007, more than a quarter of executions in the world were carried out by mullahs’ regime in Iran.
