Iranian New Year celebrated in Auver sur Oise

Sample ImageNCRI – On Sunday, March 30, the Iranian New Year was celebrated in Auvers-sur-Oise, addressed the gathering Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance. French dignitaries and local residents greeted Mrs. Rajavi and wished her a year of success in and an end to the rule of mullahs in Iran.

A number of human right activists, mayors and city council member from Val d'Oise province were among dignitaries and local officials in the event.

A number of mayors and city council member from Val d'Oise province, human right activists were among dignitaries and local officials in the event.

Addressing the audience, Mrs. Rajavi said that under the mullahs' rule in Iran, Nowruz has become a symbol of Iranian cultural resistance against the religious fascism. Iranian citizens have turned the New Year's Fire Festival into protest against the regime.

Commenting on the recent shame elections in Iran, she said that under the religious dictatorship elections are only an orchestrated event. The outcomes have already been determined. The mullahs have decided in advance who would the candidates be and who would take the parliamentary seats.

Mrs. Rajavi stated that after this election, the regime will be more fragile and extremist, and the parliament will push for “producing the nuclear bomb,” “domination in Iraq and Lebanon” and “more suppression in Iran.”
