Iran: A young man facing gallows tomorrow

NCRI – Tomorrow, a young man identified as Javad Shojaii faces gallows in the central city of Isfahan. He was 16 at time of the alleged crime.

Javad’s family was informed this morning of his scheduled hanging on Tuesday.  He was transferred to a solitary confinement in preparation for his execution, according to the family.

Separately, there are two other prisoners on death row named Afshine Davoodi and Seyed Akbar Fatemi in Dastjerd Township in the central province of Isfahan.

According to mullahs’ regime penal code the only remedy to avoid facing capital punishment for murder is to pay blood money to the victims’ survivors. However if the victim’s family does not agree, the execution should go on as scheduled.

Currently there are 75 minors on death row in Iran according to international organizations.
