Iran: Azerbaijan attempting to curb the Iranian mullahs’ meddling

NCRI – The Republic of Azerbaijan has confiscated more than 4,000 copies of books promoting the teachings of the mullahs’ supreme leader Ali Khamenei entering the country through its southern borders with Iran.

Azerbaijan security officials spotted some 500 copies of the books in a single Baku book store already.

The Central Asian state with a majority Shiite population and common culture with Iran’s Azerbaijan province to the south fears the Iranian regime’s meddling.
It was last month that some agents of  Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS)  were arrested by Azerbaijani security forces for establishing a terrorist network aim at destabilizing the country’s government.
