Iran: Twenty-three prisoners executed in the first ten days of the year

Seven prisoners hanged in Birjand, Jahrom and Tonekabon

NCRI – The mullahs’ henchmen hanged in public two prisoners identified as Mojtaba and Mohammad-Hossein in the Chamran Square in the southern city of Jahrom, the state-run daily Iran reported on Wednesday.

Three prisoners were hanged without identifying them in the prison yard in the northeastern city of Birjand, the semi-official daily Jomhouri-Islami reported today.

The Iranian regime hanged in public two prisoners identified as Mohammad Reza Sadeghirad and Ali Kord-Roudgarmi in Abbas-Abad Township in the suburb of northern city of Tonekabon, the official daily Kayhan reported Yesterday.

Only ten days into the year, the mullahs’ regime hanged 23 prisoners.

The Iranian Resistance calls on the UN Secretary General, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and all international human rights organizations to condemn the regime and refer its dossier to the UN Security Council.
