Twelve prisoners hanged in a single day in Tehran and Shiraz
NCRI – Mullahs’ henchmen hanged nine prisoners identified as Fakhteh S. (female), Morteza R., Behzad M., Hossein, Hamid, Babak, Mohammadreza Sh., Kiyan, and Sadeq Q. in the notorious Tehran Evin Prison, the state-run news agency ISNA reported yesterday.
Three other prisoners identified as Vahid H., Mohammad A., and Ahmad H., were hanged in public in the southern city of Shiraz, the state-run news agency Fars reported on October 17.

On September 27, three prisoners identified as Hadi Jafartabar, Mirhadi Mirtaghi and Shojae Moussavizadeh were hanged in a sports complex in the northern city of Babol, the state-run news agency Fars reported.

Separately, the semi-official daily Jomhouri Islami reported on October 4 that an unidentified man was hanged in the western city of Sahneh.

On the anniversary of the State Security Forces (SSF) foundation by the mullahs’ regime called "SSF Week," a new wave of public crackdown in the form of group executions, attack on youths, conducting street arrests, and fighting "immodest dressing," describes the state of desperation of the ruling clerics in combating public uprisings.

The Iranian Resistance drew the attention of the UN Secretary General, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Human Rights Council and all international human rights organizations to the new wave of executions and called for designation of a Special Rapporteur to constantly monitor human rights in Iran.
